The Sound Studio in CATalyst Studios is equipped with the RODE Pro Podcasting Station and four RODE Procaster Microphones/ Headphones. Additional microphones for vocal/ instrumental recording (AKG Perception 170, AKG D112, Shure SM58, Blue Yeti Pro) are available for swap out in the Maker Studio.

Preparing for Your Reservation:

Reservations in the Sound Studio are for recording only. Make sure to prepare for your reservation! Here are a few things to consider:

• Script or Storyboard:  Pre-planning helps ensure the media you create is easy to work with and requires the least amount of post-production as possible. 
• Props: Bring any costumes, props and other items you may need.
• Equipment: Make sure to bring your own equipment to connect to our recording systems.
• Saving your Work:  Make sure you have a way to save your videos and audio.
