Introduction to ORCID

Introduction to ORCID

Who needs an ORCID iD? You do … if you are engaged in the research enterprise as a researcher, author, or innovator. ORCID is a widely accepted unique identifier that you as a researcher and author own and control. Anyone who participates in research, scholarship, or innovation can register an ORCID iD for themselves free of charge, and you use the same iD throughout your whole career -- even if your name changes or you move to a different organization, discipline, or country. Join us to learn about the advantages of having an ORCID iD and how to quickly create one for yourself.

Zoom link will be provided in the registration confirmation email.

If you have any questions, please contact Ellen Dubinsky, Scholarly Communication Librarian.
