Crocheting with Plastic Bags: Upcycling Workshop

Are you interested in learning how to turn your plastic bags into plarn and crochet them into sleeping mats for Tucson's houseless community? We will spend the hour learning just that. Please bring any plastic bags you'd like to contribute to this initiative, however all supplies will be provided.

"Students for Sustainability (SFS) is an Associated Students of the University of Arizona (ASUA) student government program that works to engage the student body to cultivate environmental literacy from many perspectives. SFS works to do this through the ASUA model of empowering student leaders, advancing social justice and equality, and pursuing institutionalized sustainability at the University of Arizona and within the Tucson community. The Waste Reduction Committee is devoted to education and institutional reduction of material waste at the University."
