UX@UA Meetup: Building an Inclusive Research Practice

UX@UA Meetup: Building an Inclusive Research Practice

Join us to celebrate World Interaction Design Day! Guest speakers, including students, staff, and faculty from the University of Arizona, will present on their recent UX research and design projects.

Presentations will include:

Designing a visual style guide for the UX@UA website. Presented by summer UX@UA intern Kat McGee, undergraduate student in Communication and Computer Science.

Remote usability testing for the library's discovery tool. Presented by summer intern for the UA Libraries Jung Mee Park, graduate student in Library and Information Science and data analyst at UITS.

The transformation of the Health Sciences Library website. Presented by the project team, which includes librarians Annabelle Nuñez and Maribeth Slebodnik and UX student Megan Straffon.

All are welcome and you don't have to be affiliated with the University of Arizona to join us. Join us at 4:00pm to kick things off with opt-in breakout rooms. The presentations will start at 4:15pm.

We'll record this event, so if you can't make it, register on Zoom anyway and we'll email you when the recording and transcript are ready.
