UX@UA January Meetup - Beyond Zoom: How to Build Human Connection in Virtual Space

Join us for our first meetup of the year, where Bryan Carter will discuss immersive digital technologies for teaching and learning. 

All our welcome and you don't have to be affiliated with the University of Arizona to join us. Networking to begin at 4:30pm with the official program to start at 4:45pm.

Speaker bio: Bryan Carter is an Associate Professor in Africana Studies and the Director of the Center for Digital Humanities at the University of Arizona. His research focuses on advanced visualization and how sustained and varied digital communication affects student retention and engagement in literature courses taught both online and face-to-face. Dr. Carter is regularly invited to venues around the world to offer keynote addresses or to serve on panels on Digital Humanities.
