Womxn/Trans/Femme Maker Lab: Finger Knitting Workshop

Womxn/Trans/Femme Maker Lab: Finger Knitting Workshop

Please join us for Womxn Trans Femme Maker Labs, which are open and inclusive events designed to center the creative and critical work of self-identified women, trans, and femme makers, artists, scientists, engineers, designers, and learners within the UofA and Tucson community. Each monthly workshop will be unique and materials and tools will be provided to registered participants via project kits; attendees are welcome to bring a project of their own to work on and get help during this time as well.

This month, CATalyst Studios will provide attendees with our Finger Knitted Wire Sign kit. This kit allows users to learn the basics of finger knitting and use their skills to create a customizable sign. Those in attendance will be able to ask questions about the kit and share your creations with the community.

Upon registration, you will receive an email with instructions for picking up your kit at the UAL Main Library prior to the workshop, as well as login information for the virtual WTF Maker Lab.
