SUMMARY:Introduction to Data Visualization in Python
DESCRIPTION:Whether it's for a course project\, a thesis\, or for an
article submitted for publication\, understanding how to communicate our
findings visually is critically important. In this workshop\, we'll
introduce three different plotting libraries using the Python programming
language: matplotlib\, seaborn\, and plotnine. This workshop is geared
toward complete beginners who have minimal-to-no experience programming in
Python\, but may also be of interest to other learners who want to explore
visualization in Python a bit more.\n\nThis session will be offered in the
Data Studios of the Main Library.\n\nTo get the most out of this workshop\,
participants should bring a laptop. The workshop can be completed online
using Google Colab\, but participants can optionally have Python installed
 locally.
