Understanding Journal Metrics
Knowing the impact and importance of a journal can help you decide where to submit your articles. However, any one metric only tells a part of the story of a journal’s quality, reputation, and impact. Every metric has its limitations, so you need to know how to look at journal (and article) metrics with a critical eye.
