Knitting Workshop: Hats & Mittens

Have you ever wanted to knit your own clothes? Stuffed animals? Blankets? Learn to knit and leave with a project over this two week course, featuring either a basic beanie or fingerless mitts. The first week, we will cover the basics of knitting and begin your first project, the second week we will continue working on those projects, troubleshooting any issues and making sure you are leaving with an item you love!

This workshop is free to attend. All materials and patterns will be provided.

Instructor Bio: Meredith Willmott, knitwear designer and Ph.D. Student in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. Meredith has been knitting for 18 years and combines knitting with science to create insect themed designs.
