Intro to Music Production

In this entry-level workshop, you'll explore the fundamentals of music production through hands-on experience with the library's Sound Studio equipment, including a synthesizer, MIDI keyboard, and audio interface. Using Ableton Live, you'll learn the basics of recording and production, the difference between audio and MIDI tracks, and how to use each to capture and manipulate sound. By the end of the session, you'll create a simple song by layering multiple audio tracks. No prior experience is required, and all tools will be provided. Facilitators reserve the right to cancel your registration if you are more than 5 minutes late.
