Laser Cutting Authorization

This workshop covers the fundamentals of laser cutting and design preparation using Adobe Illustrator, including basic cutting and engraving techniques and proper machine use and safety. You'll design and create a University of Arizona keychain pendant made from acrylic material. Upon completion, you will be able to operate the laser cutter independently. Participants are encouraged to bring their own laptops, though a limited number are available for loan. If bringing your own device, please install Adobe Illustrator prior to attending. A free Adobe Creative Cloud license is available to students, staff, and faculty at adobe.arizona.edu. Facilitators reserve the right to cancel your registration if you are more than 5 minutes late.
